Community gardens value each member of the community. Food security is growing your food and relying on your fellow community garden members when needed. Each member contributes to the wellness of the community as a whole. Individualism does not foster community; we are always stronger together. The garden and the food produced by the community bring togetherness to the forefront and allow healing of the community through the joy of growing and sharing the harvest as a community.
