A summertime trip to Ripley is well worth the time to see one of the best Community Gardens anywhere in Ontario. Nan Grant, Liz Miltenberg, and their team of volunteers do an incredible job for their community. Recently the Township of Huron-Kinloss renewed their lease for additional 5 years, as well as for the first time allowing them to plan trees and perennial planting that will remain on the site in perpetuity. Each year they donate hundreds of kilograms of fresh produce to the Kincardine Ministerial Food Bank. This short video from Bruce County will give you a taste of what they do.
