Food Insecurity is a symptom of poverty and the lack of affordable (geared-to-income) housing. For more than 40 years we have tried to band-aid this chronic problem in Canada and around the world and the problem is only getting worse. We need more people to look at the root problems, the feature from Global News helps to explain and make the case for a basic income for Canadians.
